Senior Data Engineer

Job Description:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, high-performance data pipelines across diverse platforms and data sources. You will enhance the data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the full lifecycle of designing and building scalable, high-performance data pipelines.
  • Enhance data infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Perform detailed code reviews and offer feedback to uphold best practices and high coding standards.
  • Support the development of other data engineers through mentoring and technical guidance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data needs and deliver effective engineering solutions.

Requirements:

The successful applicant must have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or backend data systems development.
  • Experience in building data solutions at enterprise scale.
  • Strong understanding of data pipeline orchestration and workflow management.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, Apache NiFi, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, and Datadog.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Tools such as Docker, Git, CircleCI, and similar tools.
