Job Overview:
Sunlight Hotels and Resorts is a leading hospitality company with a commitment to excellence and innovation. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Supervisor to join our internal audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial services, including auditing, accounting, and financial reporting.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to take on a leadership position within our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial principles, with experience in leading teams and developing policies and procedures. You will be responsible for reviewing financial statements, planning and conducting audits, and supervising auditors to ensure that they are completing their work in accordance with company standards. Additionally, you will oversee all aspects of an audit, including analyzing data, preparing reports, and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Reviewing financial statements for accuracy and ensuring that required disclosures are made* Developing and enforcing policies and procedures for the auditing department* Supervising auditors and making sure that they are completing their work in accordance with company standards* Overseeing all aspects of an audit, including planning, conducting interviews with individuals who have knowledge of the subject matter, analyzing data, and preparing reports* Ensuring that the audit meets legal requirements and conforms to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)* Monitoring the progress of the audit and communicating with the client regularly about issues or concerns that arise during the process

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field* Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in a leadership role* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and auditing standards* Excellent communication and leadership skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
