We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Cleanvironment waste management services inc. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and review financial information, including financial statements and reports.
- Prepare financial forms, documents, and generate reports, including reconciliations and financial statements.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including monthly encoding of financial transactions.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather supporting documents and data necessary for financial reporting.
- Ensure administrative requirements for day-to-day activities are updated.
- Handle petty cash and reimbursement processing.
- Process payroll and reconcile payroll accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts and prepare intercompany invoices.
- Accountancy/Accounting Technology/Financial Management graduate.
- Preferably more than 5 years of general accounting experience.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and tools is an advantage.
- Must work well independently in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Strong prioritization skills in order to meet established deadlines.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in efficient time management and adept task prioritization.
- Ability to conduct internet research with demonstrated computer skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with an ability to concentrate for an extended period of time.
