Job Role

The Risk Management Professional will be responsible for managing risks associated with information security, analyzing potential threats, and helping to enhance security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist Security Business Partners in their activities, providing expert analysis and guidance to ensure seamless security operations.
  2. Support vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and remediation efforts, working closely with stakeholders to identify and address potential security gaps.
  3. Help investigate and respond to low-severity security incidents under the guidance of senior analysts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security issues.
  4. Document and report security findings, supporting continuous improvement of security processes, maintaining accurate records of security-related activities and recommendations.
  5. Support business teams during security audits, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure compliance with relevant security standards.
  6. Conduct security awareness training and initiatives to educate employees on security best practices, promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in IT or BPO companies, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and principles.
  • Bachelors degree holder, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: One or more Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent), demonstrating expertise in security management and incident response.
  • 5-7 years of experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the following fields and skills:
  1. Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls and formation security principles.
  2. Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and tools (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS) and incident response processes.
  3. Fair understanding of cloud security principles and practices and emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  5. Amenable to work on a midshift schedule and hybrid set-up.
