About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Billing Professional to cater to all billing inquiries from patients and doctors, process payments, and perform general tasks in our fast-growing organization.

This is a full-time role on a US shift with a work-in-the-office set-up.

Responsibilities
  • Make inbound and outbound calls to/from patients, insurance representatives, and onsite counterparts, as well as doctor's and law offices, when applicable.
  • Update the billing system with pertinent patient information coming from patients and other authorized entities.
  • Billing cases and following up on accounts receivables, prepare patient invoices as needed.
  • Post payments made by patients or by their representatives through the company's online payment portal partner – electronic and/or mailed payments.
  • Execute ad hoc tasks assigned by the direct supervisor/manager and/or onshore billing manager.
  • Correct erroneous billing information such as bill/remit codes, bill charges, and the like.
  • Meet minimum target metrics and provide excellent customer experience to all patients, doctors, and its partner insurances.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of BPO experience in a healthcare account.
  • At least 1 year of Healthcare BPO / Billing experience is required.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS billing in the US healthcare setting.
  • Background in processing Claims/Claims Rejections and Appeals is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GVT, TRIZETTO, and other Billing software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with most healthcare insurance tools is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and external stakeholders.

A strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure are also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite is preferred.
