Accountant Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, seeking to take full ownership of their work and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage engagement work from planning through completion with minimal supervision.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding client business models and providing timely communication.
  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute to engagement strategy.
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other key deliverables.
  • Monitor deadlines and balance multiple engagements.
Accountability and Contribution to Firm Growth
  • Demonstrate personal accountability and maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Identify inefficiencies and provide constructive feedback to the management group.
  • Assist with documentation of SOPs and participate in firm-wide improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation in progress or newly earned.
  • Proficient with iFirm, CaseWare/CaseView, and Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with CCH iFirm, Caseware, Taxprep, QBO, Adobe.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, client-facing experience essential.
