Accounting Professional Sought

KDCI is seeking an experienced accounting professional with expertise in tax preparation, financial analysis, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be proficient in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate federal, state, and local tax returns.
  • Support internal accounting functions by collaborating with staff to ensure data accuracy.
  • Review trial balances, fixed asset schedules, and reports for compliance and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via clear emails.
  • Supervise outsourced staff, assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
  • Conduct ongoing tax research to stay current with regulations.
  • Assist with quarterly estimated tax calculations and annual tax planning.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews as needed.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial projects using advanced Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge.
  • 2–4 years of tax return preparation experience.
  • Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.
  • Experience using Soroban or Stanford Tax platforms.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to manage and delegate tasks to outsourced team members.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
