We're looking for a skilled Proofreader who understands the unique rhythms and emotional nuances of romance novels. You'll be responsible for ensuring consistency, polish, and emotional continuity across every page.

• Proofread manuscripts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors to ensure high-quality content.
• Maintain consistency in voice, formatting, and dialogue flow throughout the novel.
• Verify continuity across POVs, timelines, and character details to ensure accuracy.
• Flag potential errors or inconsistencies for review and validation.

• 2+ years of professional proofreading/copyediting experience in contemporary romance with a proven track record of success.
• Advanced command of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting with an eye for detail and a deep respect for the genre's pacing and emotional beats.

• Fully remote role with flexibility to work independently.
• Contract basis with compensated trial period allowing you to assess the opportunity.
