Financial Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Financial Business Analyst to drive financial insights and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement across our business processes.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and has strong financial modeling skills with a background in SaaS and/or health-tech industries.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI assessments.
  • Evaluate and analyze business operations to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for efficiency and growth.
  • Develop and interpret financial performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements that drive financial scalability.
  • Support strategic decision-making by assessing the financial impact of business initiatives.
  • Research industry trends and benchmarks to inform financial recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, concise financial reports that communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with financial standards and internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Proven ability to perform financial modeling at a high level.
  • Experience analyzing and improving business processes.
  • Background in SaaS or health-tech industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
  • Advanced skills in Excel, accounting/finance platforms (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero), and SQL-based analysis.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
