Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will oversee all accounting functions, including payables, receivables, and cost control.
  • They will be responsible for managing monthly financial closings, ensuring proper accruals, and preparing financial statements in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS.
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) such as AR collection and credit management will be monitored and analyzed.
  • The Finance Manager will lead annual budgeting processes, liaise with auditors and tax authorities, and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Additionally, they will drive SAP project implementation, identify cost-saving initiatives, and support management in strategic decisions.
  • Ensuring strong internal controls, overseeing audits, and maintaining accurate financial records are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting, preferably with an MBA or CPA qualification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within the shipping/logistics industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with Oracle/SAP experience being a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Self-motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are crucial qualities.

Salary: $100,000+ based on experience.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
