About This Opportunity

As an Energy Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our telecommunications towers' energy infrastructure.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the procurement, delivery, and storage of fuel for generator backup systems.
  • Coordinating with fuel suppliers and haulers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Monitoring fuel consumption and implementing optimization strategies.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in a similar role. Proven experience in managing energy infrastructure, preferably in the telecommunications industry, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Fuel and Hauling Coordination:

  • Oversee the entire fuel lifecycle, from procurement to delivery and storage.
  • Work closely with fuel suppliers and haulers to resolve any issues that may arise.

Electricity Bill Coordination:

  • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to reduce electricity bills.
  • Collaborate with utility providers to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.

Battery Bank Management:

  • Develop and implement a battery bank management plan to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate battery replacements and upgrades as needed.
