Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide remote technical assistance as an IT Support Specialist. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently, escalating issues to suppliers or partners as required.

The successful candidate will remotely install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, software, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and security. They will also manage system user accounts and access permissions, ensuring data security and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remotely install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, software, printers, and peripherals
  • Manage system user accounts and access permissions
  • Log, manage, and respond to IT support tickets and inquiries via various channels
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT tools and best practices
  • Maintain IT inventory and assist with procurement as needed
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement IT projects and upgrades

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Possess a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • A minimum 3-5 years of experience providing support in Windows, M365, Active Directory/Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, and Xero
  • Experience with remote support and management applications and help desk software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed English written and verbal communication skills
