Technical Lead: Full Stack Engineer

The role entails overseeing the development and implementation of a next-generation web-based video editor.

This position requires a deep understanding of frontend and backend technologies, as well as experience with database integrations and cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend workflows, along with proficiency in RESTful APIs or GraphQL and backend frameworks like Node.js or Express.

A solid grasp of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI development is also necessary, along with strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Prior experience in multimedia/video processing platforms is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable features for our web-based video editor platform using React and other relevant technologies.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality backend services, APIs, and database integrations to support the frontend application.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate product concepts into seamless user experiences.
  • Ensure optimal performance and responsiveness across various browsers and devices by optimizing application code and implementing caching strategies.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes to guarantee the highest quality standards.
  • Contribute meaningfully to technical architecture decisions and propose improvements to enhance overall system efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend development methodologies.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL and backend frameworks such as Node.js or Express.
  • Familiarity with database systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI design principles.
  • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in multimedia/video processing platforms is a plus.
