Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end close process, preparing and submitting financial reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they meet their responsibilities.
  • Ensure all financial reporting and accounting practices comply with GAAP and DCAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers and accountants on project status reviews, margin analysis, and billing support.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience at a controller level in a professional services firm or a project-based organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and project accounting principles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • A background in auditing and reconciliation practices.
