Job Overview

The Software Engineer (BE) will work closely with our lead developer to implement backend features based on clear specifications and requirements. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented developer who thrives on following established patterns and producing reliable, well-tested code.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality, with excellent ability to follow established coding styles and conventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement backend services and features using Node.js and JavaScript based on provided specifications.
  • Follow established coding conventions, patterns, and architectural guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features before submission.
  • Read and understand detailed requirements, asking clarifying questions when needed.
  • Collaborate with the lead engineer to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of database management, specifically PostgreSQL or similar.
  • Excellent reading comprehension and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
  • Proven track record of implementing features based on written requirements and specifications.
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote-work environment.
