Job Description

Maintenance Scheduling and Work Order Management:

  • Create and manage maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Generate work orders and coordinate with the maintenance team to allocate resources efficiently.

Predictive Maintenance:

  • Estimate costs of labor and parts for dredging equipment to optimize resource allocation.
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely replacement and minimize stockouts.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate better prices and improve lead times.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Evaluate maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Communication and Teamwork:

  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to allocate resources efficiently, including manpower, spare parts, and equipment.
  • Provide regular updates to management on maintenance progress and any issues that may arise.

We require a degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) and proven experience as a maintenance planner in dredging. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential for this role.
