Your primary responsibility will be to closely follow instructions and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting customer needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring drivers maintain compliance with DOT regulations and support customer requirements">
  • Serving as a reliable point of contact to drivers and management">
  • Monitoring daily driving logs to ensure compliance with DOT">
  • Assisting Deputy Terminal Manager in ensuring truck and driver readiness">
  • Developing daily plans to balance drivers' health and safety with customer requirements">
  • Coordinating and managing the most efficient loads">
  • Implementing programs to manage cost">
  • Combining shipments based on their routes and timeline to minimize truck/driver requirement">
  • Negotiating rates directly with vendors and customers">
  • Identifying special needs of shipment and helping drivers get necessary documents">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A high school degree or equivalent; Logistics or transportation degree preferred">
  • Fluent in English and Spanish preferred">
  • Familiarity with DOT and OSHA compliance regulations">
  • Fluency in Excel">
  • Quick and thorough data entry/input background including Excel and OneDrive">
  • Critical thinking and fast responsiveness">
