This is a challenging role that requires a high degree of organizational skill, excellent communication abilities and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

Job Description

As a key support to the Project Manager, you will play a vital role in driving private-label and branded initiatives forward. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage the artwork development process, and maintain accurate project data to ensure timely delivery with minimal risk.

  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and tracking project plans, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate end-to-end artwork management, including version control, approvals, and timely delivery to meet production schedules.
  • Report on and coordinate the packaging transition and associated liabilities to ensure zero financial impact.
  • Act as a key liaison between sales, procurement, production, regulatory, quality, and logistics teams by coordinating cross-functional activities to keep deliverables on schedule, and proactively flagging any delays or disconnects to the senior project manager.
  • Own the accuracy and maintenance of critical project data, including timelines, project documents, and the artwork process.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the Product Life Cycle master data setup and updates, manage the change control process, and support delisting activities in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency and support best practices in project coordination.

Success in this role will require strong analytical skills, the ability to think creatively and provide solutions to complex problems, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in project coordination, managing end-to-end timelines and supporting project management activities.
  • Project coordination or project support experience in Consumer Packaged Goods or food manufacturing environments is required.
  • A college diploma or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating artwork management and packaging development processes is an asset.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and ERP systems is an asset.
