About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled bookkeeper to join our team as a Financial Reporting Specialist. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience handling bookkeeping tasks for Australian clients and a strong understanding of Australian taxation laws.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, adhering to Australian accounting standards.
  2. Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
  3. Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and other compliance reports in accordance with Australian laws.
  4. Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and manage general ledger transactions.
  5. Process payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation, and other payroll obligations.
  6. Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and cash flow management.
  7. Ensure tax compliance and collaborate with Australian clients and tax authorities.
  8. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary financial documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience for Australian clients.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation, GST, BAS, and payroll regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with international clients.
