Senior Software Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable system applications that align with architectural best practices and enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex software systems using Node.js, React, and React Native.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of system-level applications.
  • Develop and deploy bug fixes and enhancements using Node.js, React, and React Native.
  • Coordinate with QA teams to validate fixes and ensure high-quality deployments.
  • Monitor system health and performance using AWS tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, dashboards).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in JavaScript and Node.js for backend development.
  • Hands-on experience with React (web) and React Native (mobile) for building responsive, cross-platform applications.
  • Skilled in RESTful API design, integration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, RDS, and CodePipeline.
  • Experience managing application performance monitoring and alerting through AWS CloudWatch and similar tools.
  • Databases: Proficient in MySQL, with experience in writing SQL queries, optimizing performance, and managing relational databases.
  • Mobile Development: Proficient in deploying mobile apps using Xcode (iOS) and Android Studio (Android).
  • Development Practices: Strong debugging skills with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experienced with ticket-based workflows (e.g., Jira) and cross-functional collaboration.
