Project Brief

This project involves the creation of a new Shopify site aligned with brand guidelines. The task requires building a custom theme, migrating content from the previous website, and implementing light automations to enhance user experience.

The engagement is expected to last for ~2–3 weeks, working 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Shopify, including theme setup, content migration, and go-live processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a new Shopify site using an OS 2.0 theme, ensuring it meets brand guidelines.
  • Migrate and organize content from the previous website, including pages, FAQs, sponsor highlights, and event details.
  • Configure navigation, collections, and essential pages for clarity and ease of use.
  • Set up light automations tied to key site actions, such as contact/sponsor interest forms and ticket confirmation messaging.
  • Implement basic integrations to reduce manual processes, document automation flows for easy client handoff.
  • Apply design improvements to increase readability, mobile responsiveness, and conversion without overcomplicating the build.
  • Optimize page layouts for event highlights, sponsors, FAQs, and calls-to-action, ensuring consistent styling aligned with brand tone.
