As a Senior Data Science Specialist - Security Reporting, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge analytics solutions that inform our security strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced analytics pipelines for security data collection, processing, and visualization using tools like Apache Superset and Grafana.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Analyze complex data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies that inform our security decisions.
  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with engineers, architects, and digital intelligence teams to ensure seamless integration and accuracy in reporting.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, and processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or a related role, preferably in the security industry.
  • Programming languages: Python, Go, Java, or SQL.
  • Data visualization tools: Apache Superset, Angular, Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
  • Data processing frameworks and ETL tools.
  • DB: MySQL.
  • Security knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and security incident response.
  • Cloud experience: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) and their security features.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Advanced analytics: Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics techniques.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
