Web Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our dynamic marketing team at Solid Lyndelle Manpower Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Website Development and Maintenance: Develop and maintain the company's website, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and compliance with web standards.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team: Work closely with the marketing team to implement website changes that support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
  • Content Management: Manage and update website content using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress), ensuring all information is current, accurate, and engaging.
  • SEO Optimization: Work with external agency to implement best practices for SEO to improve website visibility and search engine ranking.
  • UX/UI Design: Work with enhance user interfaces to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), provide regular reports, and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues or bugs that arise on the website.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure the website is fully responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure the website complies with all relevant legal requirements and best practices for data security.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in web development, preferably within a marketing environment.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, particularly WordPress.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
  • Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
  • Understanding of back-end development and server management.
Objectives:
  • Increase website traffic: Improve SEO performance / search engine rankings as well as page performance optimisation.
  • Enhance Lead Generation: Conversion rate optimization – develop and implement strategies to improve website conversion rates. Create and maintain effective landing pages.
  • Improve user engagement and retention: Enhance user experience by implementing intuitive navigation, responsive design and engaging content.
  • Brand strengthening: Consistent branding – ensure the website reflects the brands identity and values consistently.
  • Data-driven decisions: Use web analytics to track the performance, user behavior and campaign effectiveness.
