Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Front End Expert to deliver high-quality front-end development with clean code, modern tooling, and best practices.

This role focuses on working closely with the lead developer, implementing complex builds and solving technical challenges as part of the team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver work on time and meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the team and be dependable.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes using ACF and modular CSS/JS.
  • Build custom Shopify themes and extend functionality as required.
  • Deliver React-based front-end builds, including Gatsby for static and hybrid websites.
  • Translate designs and requirements into maintainable, performant code.
  • Apply advanced site optimisation techniques (Core Web Vitals, caching, lazy loading, image optimisation, etc.).
  • Ensure accessibility, responsive behaviour, and SEO best practices are consistently applied.
  • Work with Git using a branch/pull request/merge workflow.
  • Use modern toolchains (Webpack, Vite, Babel, npm/yarn) to improve development efficiency and code quality.
  • Integrate and consume third-party APIs.
  • Troubleshoot issues across front-end, WordPress, Shopify, React, and server environments.
