Senior Electrical Design Lead

The role of Senior Electrical Design Lead is to oversee the design process, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining momentum with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical design standards that ensure field success, including technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability.
  • Partner with sales teams to understand client needs and project constraints, and collaborate with operations to ensure designs are practical and installable.
  • Manage electrical workflows to support sales cycles and project timelines, and communicate proactively about design status and potential challenges.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of electrical design management experience in related technical fields.
  • Strong technical background in electrical systems design and technology integration.
  • Proven ability to manage remote teams and maintain consistent quality standards.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and specialized electrical design software (Aurora, Helioscope, Revit, Visio).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of US electrical codes (NEC) and construction industry standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent electrical engineering credentials.
  • Experience managing teams in both low-voltage (AV) and high-voltage (solar) applications.
  • Familiarity with EOS Traction or similar business operating systems.
