Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies to minimize hazards.
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on environmental health and safety procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and near misses.
  • Developing and implementing effective safety programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably as a Safety Officer, Pollution Control Officer, or Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and compliances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
