Health, Environment, Safety and Quality (HESQ) Professional

">About the Role">

We are seeking an experienced HESQ professional to lead our team in health, environment, safety, and quality matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding our staff in all HESQ and product stewardship activities.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of local workplace HESQ rules and regulations, as well as knowledge of ISO Accreditation Standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and IFA Protect and Sustain Certification.

">Key Responsibilities">
  • Develop and implement a local HESQ roadmap through a systematic framework focused on delivering zero harm and a culture of safe practices.">
  • Build and maintain HESQ competency across all employees, ensuring compliance to both company and local requirements.">
  • Embed HESQ leadership activities across all aspects of operations, from factory to field, for both employees and business partners.">
  • Champion HESQ communications, ensuring effective cascading of guidance, engagement in activities, and availability of platforms for workforce feedback.">
  • Implement and monitor compliance to applicable internal and external HESQ rules or regulations.">
  • Lead internal or external HESQ audits, including self-assessments.">
  • Work closely with local operations and supply chain to ensure sound business knowledge and ability to identify and support initiatives to improve productivity and safety.">
">Requirements">
  • Minimum – Tertiary level qualification in science, engineering, or a related discipline.">
  • Local – Any mandatory HESQ qualifications/certifications according to local legal requirements.">
  • Desirable qualifications – Incident Investigation, Lead Auditor Certification, Risk Management, Certified Training and Assessor, Project Management, LEAN methodology.">
  • Minimum of five years working experience in a similar or senior HESQ, Operations, or Quality Management role; preferably within the chemical manufacturing or resources sector.">
  • Strong computer proficiency in respect to MS suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).">
