We are a prominent Dermatology practice with 15 providers across multiple locations, and we have achieved a notable milestone in our history. To maintain our high standards, we seek a highly skilled Dermatology Practice Biller to manage our billing operations through Veradigm Allscripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Billing & Claims Management: Process claims accurately through Veradigm Allscripts.
  • Payment Posting: Handle electronic and paper remits, input payments into spreadsheets, and post payments from receipt books efficiently.
  • Patient Billing Support: Provide excellent support to patients via billing emails, facilitate credit card vendor payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Appeals & Collections: Manage billing appeals, contact patients regarding overdue payments, and assist with collections effectively.
  • Clearinghouse Coordination: Work closely with Payer Path for seamless claims flow.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in medical billing.
  • Mandatory expertise in Veradigm Allscripts.
  • Experience with payment posting, including electronic and paper remits.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette skills.
  • English language proficiency at C1 level is required; Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with Practice Fusion (EHR) is beneficial – training will be provided.
