Accounting Position

The Property Accountant will oversee daily accounting tasks and ensure the financial accuracy of specific properties. This professional will keep accounts current, reconciled, and transparent to maintain a portfolio of properties that is audit-and report-ready. A successful candidate should have in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and possess strong analytical skills.

Job Responsibilities
  • Process journal entries to record all business transactions.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and update financial data in databases.
  • Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports according to legal and company guidelines.
  • Review expenses and payroll records as assigned.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on financial performance.
  • Support senior accountants during monthly/yearly closings.
  • Participate in various accounting projects.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a US Accountant with excellent organizational and numerical skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, MS Office, and familiarity with accounting software.
