About the Role

The Global Server Life Cycle Infrastructure team is responsible for designing, planning and implementing all server infrastructure products and services. They work closely with various teams to drive excellence, global standardization, scalability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Virtual Machine (VM) migrations across multiple environments with minimal downtime.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems supporting production workloads.
  • Manage and operate hypervisor platforms (Proxmox VE, VMware) for provisioning, migration and lifecycle management.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Perl; Python optional) to support migration, monitoring and routine operations.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Puppet and Ansible for system configuration, deployment and scaling.
  • Create and review Migration Plans (MOPs) and Change Management Requests (CMRs) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Perform scheduled out-of-hours maintenance in alignment with change management processes.
  • S Support the decommissioning of legacy systems, including service removal, data sanitization and e-waste compliance.
  • Document and maintain accurate system, process and migration records.
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL or similar).
  • Proven expertise with hypervisors: Proxmox VE and VMware vSphere/ESXi.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Perl; Python a plus).
  • Practical experience with infrastructure automation (Puppet, Ansible).
  • Track record of successful VM migrations in enterprise environments.
