Icon Design Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled icon designer to join our creative team and contribute to the development of our world-leading logo library.

This role focuses on creating original vector-based icons for various applications, requiring strong visual acumen and effective copywriting skills to assign relevant tags and ensure accurate searchability.

  • Design and produce 100% original vector-based icons for upload to popular design platforms and prepare them for review and publishing, meeting established performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed in personal and team trackers.
  • Develop keyword-driven tags to enhance discoverability of icon designs on our website.
  • Create unique original icons for logo makers and other template libraries.
  • Edit and enhance existing icons and template inventory as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide support to in-house teams as required.
Key Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a graphic designer in an agency or freelance capacity, with a focus on icon or logo creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
  • A strong portfolio of icon designs or online graphic design portfolio link.
  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent experience designing icons.
  • Excellent visual taste and aesthetic sense.
  • Familiarity with color combinations to create striking icons.
  • Knowledge of current graphic design trends.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Able to work methodically and meet deadlines.
  • A goal-oriented individual who can set targets and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong business English skills for editing icons and SEO purposes.
