Job Title

A peer reviewer is required to assess the quality of research manuscripts for publication in academic journals.

This role involves evaluating the originality, methodology, and overall quality of submissions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in their field, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide clear, concise feedback.

The ideal candidate will be able to disclose their full name and affiliations with publishers and will have prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate manuscript novelty, study design, and methodology
  • Literature review and result analysis
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations

Requirements:

  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in the subject area
  • At least two publications in the last two years in your field
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity

What You Will Do:

  • Assess whether the manuscript adds new knowledge or insights to the field of study
  • Evaluate the study design and methods for appropriateness and comprehensiveness
  • Literature review: Check whether the manuscript thoroughly incorporates and cites relevant research in the field
  • Analyse results and conclusions: Evaluate whether the results are presented clearly and appropriately
