Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative social media journalist to create engaging, news-focused content for various platforms.

• Produce high-quality, short-form videos and written content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
• Research trending topics, conduct fact-checking, and ensure accuracy and credibility.
• Develop compelling story angles, frame narratives, and craft captions, headlines, and hooks optimized for different platforms.
• Stay up-to-date on social media trends and viral content formats.
• Transform editorial articles into concise video content tailored to each platform's best practices.
• Monitor video performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve engagement.

• Respond to comments and messages to build strong connections with the audience.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to align content with our tone and mission.
• Work closely with designers or video editors for ad hoc content enhancement.

• Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or digital journalism is beneficial.
• Strong research and analysis skills with ability to fact-check and distill insights into clear stories.
• Creative thinker with a sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with creative teams.
