AU Traffic Planner (Traffic Management Designer)

We are seeking an experienced traffic planner to join our team and support major infrastructure and construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning expertise, excellent communication skills in English, and proven experience working directly with project managers on complex, large-scale developments.

The selected individual will develop, review, and manage traffic management plans for large infrastructure and construction projects. They will coordinate with project managers to align traffic planning with project timelines and deliverables, analyze and forecast traffic impacts for complex jobs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local requirements.

Key responsibilities include monitoring, adjusting, and optimizing traffic flow strategies throughout project execution, preparing detailed reports and documentation for internal teams and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in traffic planning
  • Strong background in handling multiple, complex jobs simultaneously

  • Ability to work directly with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of local traffic regulations, safety standards, and planning methodologies
  • Minimum 3 years of rapid plan experience
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in major infrastructure projects
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF Editors, Outlook)
  • AutoCAD experience (beneficial but not necessary)
