Accounting Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing tax filings, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting practices, with a proficiency in U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient processing, payment of invoices, and collection of revenue
  • Prepare and file tax returns, both federal and state, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines
  • Develop and monitor internal controls and policies to ensure financial data integrity and security
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting for U.S. companies
  • Proficiency in financial accounting software, with a strong preference for experience in QuickBooks
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in the U.S. and experience with financial statement preparation
