Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to manage The Virtual IT Professional's financial transactions, including accounting, tax compliance, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision, and a keen eye for identifying financial discrepancies.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:- General Accounting: Manage and record all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with company guidelines and relevant accounting standards.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns, including VAT, income tax, and withholding tax. Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and ensure compliance.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of company records and identify discrepancies.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing the company's annual budget, cash flow forecasts, and financial performance analysis.
- Audit Preparation: Prepare supporting documents for external and internal audits. Work closely with auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits.
- Payroll: Manage payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Expense Management: Monitor and track company expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Financial Analysis: Provide insights and financial advice to management by analyzing financial data and identifying trends or anomalies.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all financial records and reports are properly maintained and stored in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
- At least 6-10 years experience.
- Proven experience in general accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
