Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team.

• This position involves delivering goods to customers premises and ensuring accuracy in the process.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for performing daily vehicle inspections at the start of each shift to ensure roadworthiness.
• They will also be required to complete trucking sheets and run sheets with all relevant information in a timely manner.
• The Transportation Specialist will collect goods according to instructions and complete associated paperwork efficiently.
• Additionally, they will carry out routine daily checks on the assigned vehicle and report any faults or defects to the transport department ASAP.
• The ideal candidate will adhere to current driver's hours, rules, and regulations, including working time directives, and ensure legal breaks are taken during work shifts.
• They will also be available to work required shifts and overtime during the week and on weekends as needed.
• Ongoing duties may include other tasks assigned by management.
