The role of a Strategic Financial Insights Manager at William Hill PLC involves supporting the company's financial planning and analysis function. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect forecast inputs and business unit/function-specific information to develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Develop specific budgets and review assumptions.
  • Collaborate with corporate management to develop specific budgets and review assumptions.
  • Update and consolidate forecast assumptions and forecasting models.
  • Review forecasts with direct management.
  • Conduct variance and scenario analysis to develop action plans to close budget gaps.
  • Perform cost allocation calculations to cost centers/business units.
  • Support business initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • CPA: 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit, with at least 2 years in financial analysis or FP&A roles.
  • Non-CPA: 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, financial analysis. Good to have but not required.
  • Higher education degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills.
  • Desirable experience with financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and align financial strategies with business objectives.
