Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team. As an Engineer of Component Engineering, you will play a key role in managing the component database and developing data analysis strategies to support our design engineers and commodity managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the component database and prepare related department reports.
- Develop data and analytics strategies and perform data analysis including data mining, collection, consolidation, analysis, and provide solutions as well as analysis reports.
- Work with design teams and component suppliers to support the component selection process and avoid problematic or concerned components at NPI stage.
- Assist in the monthly BOM review of the multi-source compliance and highlight potential materials risk for mitigations from NPI projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- 8 years relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is definitely an advantage.
- Basic component knowledge of active/passive/electromechanical components.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
