Job Overview

This is a contract full-time remote position for those based in Brazil.

The Role

You will work closely with clients to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products.

As a Senior Python GenAI Developer, your main task will be designing & building applications using Python and GenAI tools such as Langchain.

Your responsibilities may also include:

  1. Supporting component design, development and maintenance and taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team.
  2. Assisting with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building and deployment.
  3. Contributing to Nearform tooling and open-source projects.
  4. Designing and implementing data storage solutions.
  5. Optimising performance in applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  6. Using appropriate tools to maintain version control and build processes.
  7. Getting feedback from users and clients, and building solutions for them.
  8. Assisting with the analysis of client requirements.
  9. Working with and supporting the Delivery Architect (team lead) in project execution and timely delivery.
  10. Collaborating with client teams.

We are looking for someone with significant experience delivering at a Senior Developer level in an enterprise environment.

You should have knowledge of Data Science techniques, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.

Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment is also required.

A deep understanding of Python, SQL Databases (PostgreSQL is preferred), and versioning control tools - Git in particular, is necessary.

Good understanding of security and performance considerations is also needed.

Excellent analytical and multitasking skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are essential.

Professional proficiency in English is required.
