Job Summary

At UHS Essential Health Phils. Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Audit Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax audit requirements, ensuring the availability of necessary information during audits. This includes preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and analyses to identify potential tax compliance exposures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive schedules, reconciliations, and analyses to support tax audit requirements.
  • Review substantiation requirements for completeness and accuracy.
  • Compile soft copies of tax audit requirements as necessary and applicable.
  • Identify potential exposures and discuss them with the Finance Manager and Accounting Assistant Manager.
  • Confer with the tax lawyer on how to mitigate potential exposures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA License is an advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in handling tax audits and related requirements.
  • Strong understanding of National Internal Revenue Taxation.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office products).
  • Strong analytical skills and adequate understanding of accounting procedures.
  • Diligent and detail-oriented individual.
  • Good organization skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
