We are seeking a skilled Charge Capture Medical Coder to join our team at ACCPRO International. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our revenue cycle processes.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to work with us. As a Charge Capture Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reviewing hospital charges against medical records and applicable documentation to determine appropriate code assignments for diagnoses and services provided. Your expertise in coding resources and reference materials will ensure accuracy in coding for assigned services.

Responsibilities
  • Review hospital charges against medical records and applicable documentation to determine appropriate code assignments for diagnoses and services provided.
  • Apply expertise in coding resources and reference materials to ensure accuracy in coding for assigned services.
  • Abstract statistical data from patient records and enter information following facility guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Active CPC, COC, CCS-P or CCS certification preferred.
  • PHRN License active and current.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED) and/or E/M Medical Coding, Profee Coding.

Estimated Salary: $18,000 - $20,000 per year.
