Description:

This role is for a dedicated professional to support mortgage brokers in loan application processes, from initial contact through settlement. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Mortgage Broker throughout the loan application process.
  • Assist Mortgage Brokers at all stages of the loan process, including first contact and settlement.
  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to Mortgage Brokers and their applications.
  • Request client information and liaise directly with clients to gather supporting documentation.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations.
  • Research lender policies and prepare loan comparisons.
  • Prepare and package client loan applications, ensuring accurate data entry and supporting documentation.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting.
  • Owning compliance-related matters, capturing documentation and data in the CRM system.
  • Completing loan serviceability, ordering valuations, preparing forms, gathering rate quotes, arranging loan doc execution, and arranging settlements with stakeholders.
  • Additional duties may include post-settlement aftercare and reviewing existing client loans to maintain client contact.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry.
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems.
  • Data privacy knowledge, understanding of Australian Best Interest Duty and Responsible Lending legislation.
  • Accountable and accurate work practices.
  • Understanding of mortgages language and end-to-end loan application process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to understand financial documents, bank credit policy, and assess PAYG applications.
  • Team player with strong work ethic.
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly.
  • Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking.
