Position Summary
This role is responsible for participating in the Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) and other related cybersecurity tasks.
The NOSC actively monitors for cybersecurity threats and initiates investigations and incident handling as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring the environment to detect and mitigate cybersecurity-related issues before they occur.
- Responding to security alerts and handling incidents as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Coordinating with the team during security exercises and performing incident investigations and threat hunting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant industry experience and certifications
- 3+ years of experience in working in SOC or other cybersecurity roles
- With cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CySA+, or GSEC
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in problem solving, troubleshooting, documenting, and reporting
