**Job Opportunity: Estimator Role**

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires working on-site for 2-4 weeks, followed by a transition to a remote work setup. The night shift schedule follows the U.S Eastern Time Zone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and organize project information to ensure successful project execution.
  • Identify missing or conflicting scope details to guarantee constructability.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects, including demolition, asphalt, concrete, masonry, steel, framing, doors, hardware, glass storefronts, HVAC ducts, plumbing, electrical components, and electrical conduits.
  • Assist with construction document/plan/spec review, redlining, and requests for information to maintain accurate project records.
  • Digital takeoffs using OST, Bluebeam, or similar software to highlight project scope and facilitate collaboration.
  • Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs using Microsoft Excel with existing cost data to ensure budgetary accuracy.
  • Maintain open communication with the project management team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Review and finalize takeoff with the team to guarantee accuracy and completion.
Requirements:
  • Preferred degree in construction, engineering, business management/finance/accounting, or similar fields to provide a strong foundation for the role.
  • Knowledge of construction components and methods to ensure effective project execution.
  • Commercial construction experience across multiple trades is highly valued.
  • Experience working with U.S-based clients is a significant asset.
  • Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Planswift, and electronic takeoff software is a plus.
