Job Description

The Senior Manager, Security Assurance will be responsible for leading and managing security assurance initiatives to ensure the integrity of our organization's data.

  • Lead and manage security assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee external audits and collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses.
  • Assess and identify gaps in security controls and develop strategies for remediation and improvement.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks and help influence our organization's security strategy.
  • Develop and implement security standards and policies in alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Assurance Leadership

Leads and manages the development and implementation of security assurance initiatives.

  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards through regular audits and assessments.
  • Collaborates with auditors to provide necessary documentation and responses.
Security Control Assessment and Improvement

Identifies and assesses gaps in security controls and develops strategies for remediation and improvement.

  • Provides recommendations for improving security controls.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to implement improvements.
Subject Matter Expertise

Provides expert-level guidance on security frameworks and influences our organization's security strategy.

  • Stays up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to implement new security strategies.
Security Standards and Policies

Develops and implements security standards and policies in alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

  • Works closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Ensures that security standards and policies are regularly reviewed and updated.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience

7-10 years of experience in information security with a focus on security assurance and compliance.

  • Proven experience in managing and leading external audit engagements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
