Job Title:

Digital News Creator

We are seeking a skilled and creative Digital News Creator to produce engaging, news-focused content across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current affairs, social media trends, and the ability to craft compelling stories that resonate with online communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality, short-form videos and written content for social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Research trending topics and conduct fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Craft engaging captions, headlines, and hooks optimized for each platform.
  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends and viral content formats to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
  • Transform editorial articles into concise, engaging video content tailored to each platform's best practices.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or digital journalism is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, their audiences, and content trends (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook).
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Capcut, Canva, or equivalent).
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to distill insights into clear, audience-friendly stories.
  • Keen sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition with interest in current affairs, news, and social issues.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
