Enterprise Java Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned Java developer to join our team in Colombia. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 4-7 years of professional experience in designing and developing high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java development, cloud architecture, and enterprise-grade software solutions. They should be familiar with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM. Additionally, they should have hands-on experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
  3. Implement and maintain microservices architecture on AWS cloud platform.
  4. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  5. Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Qualifications
  • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, DataDog).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
