Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Utility Engineer to lead detailed inspections of overhead utility infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and contributing to process improvements within the electric utility sector.

The successful candidate will oversee QA/QC processes, perform advanced data analysis, and provide technical leadership to support project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead inspections of overhead utility infrastructure, identifying faults and hazards.
  • Perform advanced data analysis, ensuring high standards of accuracy and data quality.
  • Oversee QA/QC processes for work packages and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide feedback and contribute to process improvements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to ensure project goals and deliverables are met.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in the electric utility field.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of national engineering standards and best industry practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.

  • GIS software for utility asset mapping and analysis
  • Data management tools for cataloging and reporting
