Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining blockchain networks and protocols.

About the Role

You will work on improving our current infrastructure, including security, automation, and monitoring. You will also have the opportunity to dive deep into new blockchain protocols, run testnets, build secure and scalable infrastructures, and maintain them.

Main Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Development: Build secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues
  • System Administration: System administration activities for Linux servers, including routine, proactive daily management of the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure
  • Documentation: Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation
  • Network Security: Stay up-to-date with and build on peer-to-peer networking security best practices
  • Risk Management: Create, maintain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all systems we operate
Requirements
  • Experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer
  • Ability to program in one or more languages, such as Python, GoLang, Bash, or Javascript
  • Experience managing server infrastructures with high availability requirements
  • Designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures
  • Set up and maintained software in both data centers and cloud environments
  • Deep understanding of sockets, full networking stack, and Linux security
  • Possess knowledge of building automation and CI/CD processes and tools
  • Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies
  • Flexibility, teamwork, and comfortable with ambiguity, able to take charge and get things done despite unknowns
